Known Issues

On this page we will be listing known issues as well as updates on bug fixes. Check this page often for new entries as they are added weekly.

Category Stamps and FDC:

Occupied territory stamps categorization mismatch (ww2).
On stamps with years of birth of famous person misidenfication of year of print.
Package control stamps, personal stamps misidentification. [limited support]
Bisects and splits not currently supported.
Some dates of print displayed earlier.
Yugoslavia 1945 provisional issues misidentification.

Category Postcards:

Issues with animals-birds topic displaying as turkey for eBay.
Some issues with multilingual text transcription for postcard content.
Condition report too rigorous treating small defects as major.

Category Books:

Entire name of publisher including the name publisher added.
Inaccurate German to English translations for some works (natural history books).
Occasional inaccuracies for grading too low for eBay.

General Updates & Bug Fixes

April 2026 update:

✓ General: Hosting migration complete.
✓ eBay: Fixed issue with prohibited listing duration [GTC and max Auction format times].
✓ eBay: “Default” policies for shipping, returns, payments and refunds set for newly uploaded inventory items.
✓ eBay: Users will not need to provide API keys, only log with their accounts, streamlining onboarding.
✓ General: Extended time of data preservation for existing items.
✓ Books: Fraktur font reading logic rewritten so reading of gothic styled fonts is more accurate for pre XXc books.
✓ General: Client UI reworked to include previously listed items and billing on same screen.
✓ Books: Added analytical distinctions between Rubber stamps institutional/personal, ex libris.
✓ Books: Can correctly distinguish between “signed” and “dedicated” books.
✓ Books: Added following cases to trigger condition logic: Dated signature, Limitation page, numbered copy, AEG, TEG, Marbled (both for binding/endpaper and textblock), uncut edges, non-black text and columns.

March 2026 update:

✓ eBay: API testing complete.
✓ eBay: Multiple choice added for listing types (Auction / Fixed price).
✓ Woocommerce: API testing complete.
✓ General: SKU logic restructured for users.
✓ General: SI refactored for priority of category assignment for all items. E.G.: US WWII Postcards will be posted in [WW II (1939-45) Original Period Items United States Postcards | ID: 13979] instead of generic [Postcards | ID: 262041].
✓ General: CSV to JSON schema updated.
✓ General: Added: “remember my decision” option when uploading to save on time for users posting multiple items in same categories.
✓ General: Added errors for images with low resolution and under certain kb size (varies per category).
✓ General: Added Disclaimers and TOS.
✓ Experimental: UI for Alpha version complete, started testing with volunteer sellers.
✓ Books: Loosened condition reporting for browning, foxing and shelf wear OCR identification.

March 2026 update:

✓ Etsy: Category mapping complete.
✓ Etsy: Attribute mapping for categories Postcards, Stamps, Books, Maps, complete.
✓ General: Production management and planning for Q2 2026 completed.
✓ General: UI and testing for user management completed.
✓ General: Added billing structure to user management.

✓ eBay: Sandbox development started and tested for “Inventory” creation.
✓ eBay: priority assignment for categories Books, Postcards, FDC and Stamps remapped in SI.

February 2026 update:

✓ General: Refactored SI from “Sections 1-5” segments to delimiters for Books, Stamps, FDCs and Postcards.
✓ eBay: created and approved developer account.
✓ Woocommerce: testing started for pilot categories: Books, Stamps, Postcards.
✓ Woocommerce: script created for json to CSV integration for all categories.
✓ eBay: re-mapped categories from last seller update.
✓ eBay: testing started in sandbox mode for pilot categories: Books, Stamps, Postcards.

January 2026 update:

✓ Experimental: Development started on Maps category.
✓ Maps: eBay listing title logic tested.
✓ Maps: eBay listing title logic divided into periods depending on the date of creation.
✓ Maps: eBay category mapped.
✓ Maps: eBay listing categories updated to include era-specific periods (WWI, WWII etc) for 20c maps.
✓ Maps: Corrected scale of foxing damage estimate.
✓ Maps: Incorrect “region” assignment fixed.

December 2025 update:

✓ General: Rewritten Image to JSON pipeline for eBay and Woocommerce
✓ Stamps: personal stamps misidentification partially fixed.
✓ Stamps: Rewritten category assignment logic.
✓ Books: Loosened condition evaluation not to degrade browning to “Good”.
✓ Stamps: Rephrased category list.
✓ General: Solved issue with “,” being treated as attribute delimiter for attributes that have comma in their name.
✓ Woocommerce: Fixed issue with cell shifting for CSV creation for products with over 10 specifics.
✓ Woocommerce: Fixed issue with all products being assigned “1kg” weight.
✓ General: Import retested for new model version 3.0.
✓ General: added character limit and guidelines for platforms eBay, Etsy, Delcampe and HipCommerce.
✓ Books: added unsupported languages as for custom specifics for eBay and Woocommerce.
✓ Books: added condition grading system.
✓ Hipcommerce: Implemented Magic category and distinction between topographic and non-topographic.
✓ Postcards: Reworked and harmonized prompts for “title” section. Publisher/series added to keyword selection.
✓ Vinyl: Category and attribute mapping for eBay complete.
✓ General: fallback categories added for uncategorizable items.
✓ Stamps: Austrian occupation of Bosnia stamps misidentification fixed.

November 2025 update:

✓ General: Added independent condition report section to metadata.
✓ Books: Blackletter font reading confusing 4 with 1.
✓ Books: Reprints treated as firs editions.
✓ Postcards: Geograpy-Places attribute spam.
✓ Stamps: Rappen (CHF) misidentification.
✓ Stamps: Denomination misidentifying USD cents for non-USD cents
✓ Postcards: Mismatch with attribute Topic and Theme for eBay.
✓Postcards: fixed issue with stamp identification for postcards that have different written language from the one printed.
✓ Stamps: Indentifying generic potraits as famous people for eBay specific.
✓ Stamps: Low resolution image misidentifications.
✓ Stamps: Overprint identified as cancellation issue fixed.

October 2025 update:

✓ FDC: MNH/MLH mix-up for used fdcs.
✓ Books: Author field length in product title reworked.
✓ Books: forbidden ISBN search for pre 1967 books speeding up results for pre-ISBN books.
✓ Books: Issue with displaying all editions as “first edition”.
✓ Stamps: mirrored stamps not recognized as errors.
✓ Stamps: “Era” missing attribute for Asian stamps fixed.
✓ Books: Issues with keyword creation after title field.
✓ Postcards: Added section with stamps ID, counting and denomination.
✓eBay: Category parsing issue resolved for “unknown/other” subcategories for stamps European.
✓ HipStamp: Attribute mapping complete.
✓ HipPost: Attribute mapping complete.

September 2025 update:
